LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 300-250 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 4.27 g, 12 h). Head of Athena facing slightly to right, wearing triple-crested helmet. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; to right, cross-torch. HN Italy 1682. Johnston, Bronze, 46. Attractive brown-green patina. Two edge splits and slightly rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
